Frequently asked questions about the IPTouch 1300 CNC coating machine
Can the IPT-1300 coat 100% of all geometries without rework?
Most profiles can be coated fully automatically. However, a small percentage of less common profiles may remain that cannot be automated economically. Our goal is to find the optimal cost-effective solution for you; let's discuss this together.
How long does a color change or cleaning take?
This depends largely on the varnishes used. However, the IPT generally meets all the technical requirements (material selection, accessibility, operating concept) that enable a minimum cleaning time of 20 minutes. Furthermore, you will receive personalized training that leaves nothing to be desired. And that's not all: you will also receive an online course that keeps your employees up-to-date and allows you to quickly train new employees.
Are there also more compact machines?
Yes. The A380 or IPM/IPT380 are also available. These machines already cover a good portion of your daily volume of columns, struts, rafters, etc., and are significantly more cost-effective. Let's discuss which machine best and most economically meets your specific requirements.
What other advantages does the large IPTouch offer?
It pre-sands directly. So, not a calibration sanding like a belt sander, but a pore-opening sanding with lamellae. This ensures a more uniform appearance and better paint adhesion. Then the glaze is pre-dried directly over IR lamps in a continuous process until everything can be packaged just a few minutes later (depending on the color).
What is the current delivery time?
The large IPTouch currently has a lead time of at least 6 months. Its smaller counterparts, such as the A380 and IPM380, are generally in stock. Therefore, if you have larger quantities to coat now and require assistance as soon as possible, we could provide you with a smaller machine as a temporary solution until the larger machine arrives and covers a much wider range of applications.
